New Single FERRUCIO

ORLANDO, FL — On Wednesday, May 7, the Queen of Opera, D’Andrea Pelletier, released one of her most stirring and cinematic recordings to date: a single titled Ferruccio, now streaming across all major platforms.

Rooted in the emotional architecture of a new opera set in Baroque-era Venice, Ferruccio tells the haunting story of a nobleman’s death through a single word: “Spi”, the Russian word for “sleep.” This minimalist libretto is carried entirely by Pelletier’s soaring voice, which guides the listener through grief, memory, and transcendence with operatic depth and emotional restraint.

The accompanying visuals—currently in development—draw from Baroque painting, chiaroscuro lighting, and cinematic masterpieces like Barry Lyndon and The Godfather, blending sacred beauty with gothic mourning. The reverse-narrative concept recalls Coldplay’s The Scientist, but reframed through the lens of classical opera and Venetian mystique.

Ferruccio also serves as a preview of the larger opera and literary series currently in production by D’Andrea Pelletier—one that bridges the worlds of Vivaldi, vampire mythos, and modern opera with elegance and emotional power.

“This single is more than a song,” says Pelletier. “It’s a requiem. A cry. A vow.”

Ferruccio is available now on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major platforms.
